PeachCare for Kids is Georgia's health coverage for uninsured children through age 18. And it just got cheaper: the state now charges no premiums. Families pay only small copays, $0.50 to $12.50, mostly $2 or $3. Checkups, shots, ER visits, and routine dental cost nothing at all.
The income line reaches working families: $4,455 a month for a family of two, $5,624 for three, $6,792 for four, current as of March 2026. Kids under 6 pay nothing at all. So do children in foster care and American Indian and Alaska Native children. And no family ever pays more than 5 percent of yearly income.
Coverage is broad. Doctor visits and specialists. Dental, and vision with eyeglasses. Hospital care, prescriptions, and mental health care. Even 12 months of postpartum care for covered teens.

One correction to stale articles: PeachCare premiums of $10 to $70 a month are history; the state's current FAQ says premiums are not charged. If cost fear kept you from applying, that reason is gone.
