The income limits, current from July 2026: $29,526 a year for a household of one, $61,050 for a family of four, and pregnancy counts the baby in household size. On Medical Assistance, SNAP, or TANF? WIC's limits are usually higher than those programs', so bring your ACCESS card; you can likely qualify too.
The certification appointment is the application: a health check that identifies the nutrition need (anemia, pregnancy, and similar), and benefits get set up if you qualify. Foster children under 5 qualify too, and the foster parent's income does not count.
The online self-service tool is the WIC Family Portal at wic.health.pa.gov/familyportal. One caution: there is no PA WIC 2 Go app; anything referencing it is stale. The Family Portal is the real tool.
