Iowa's Weatherization Assistance Program makes free improvements to your home. The work lowers your future utility bills for good. It is free to income-eligible households. The work targets where your home loses energy. Services include high-density wall and attic insulation. Crews use a blower door to find and reduce air leaks. They also run safety checks on all combustion appliances, like your furnace and water heater. The improvements are chosen to fit your specific home.
