Your weekly amount is your best base-period quarter divided by 25. The total pot is the lesser of 26 weeks' worth or 27 percent of your base-period wages, so shorter work histories get fewer than 26 weeks. The first week is a waiting week: unpaid now, paid later if you return to full-time work or use up your benefits and tell TWC.
